Amber is a licensed social worker in Ohio and West Virginia who earned her Master of Social Work from The Ohio State University. She has experience providing therapy in psychiatric hospitals, substance use treatment settings, and correctional environments, where she worked with individuals experiencing complex mental health and life challenges.

Amber works with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, identity concerns, relationship difficulties, and major life transitions. She is trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and is currently pursuing certification in this evidence-based trauma treatment.

Her therapeutic style is collaborative, direct, and compassionate. Amber integrates trauma-informed care with practical coping strategies to help clients strengthen emotional regulation, develop insight, and build resilience.

​Amber has a special interest in working with neurodivergent individuals and people navigating complex emotional experiences. She strives to create a supportive therapeutic space where clients feel understood, empowered, and able to move toward meaningful change.

Locations

Amber meets with clients at the Worthington location and via telehealth.
