After the Storm Counseling LLC

Cindy is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and Supervisor. She has been working in the mental health profession for over 20 years, providing individual, couples, family, and group counseling services.

 

She earned her Doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision from Argosy University in Nashville Tennessee, her Masters of Counseling at the University of Dayton, and her Bachelors of Social Work at Capital University.

 

Cindy has experience with adults, adolescents and children in both community and residential placements. Cindy specializes in trauma, grief and loss, communication and relationship issues, a wide variety of mental health disorders including but not limited to substance use, Dissociative Disorders, Bipolar Disorder, Depression, and Anxiety as well as many other emotional and behavioral health concerns.

 

Cindy recognizes the need for a strong therapeutic relationship. Cindy uses humor (when appropriate) in session and has a relaxed personality.

 

Cindy is also the owner and CEO of After the Storm Counseling LLC.  Cindy recognizes that we often face difficult challenges and it is often not until the waters calm that we may need assistance to navigate. The time after the storm can be an hour to more than multiple years.
