Mary Beth is a Licensed Professional Counselor having earned her Masters of Rehabilitation and Counseling and her Bachelors of Psychology and Ethnic Studies, both from Bowling Green State University.

 

She has over 25 years of experience working with children, adolescents and adults in private settings, community, residential, school, juvenile justice, foster and adoptive care.

 

Mary Beth specializes in anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, social and relationship issues, coping and problem-solving skills, self-care, and decision-making skills as well as other mental health disorders. She uses a client centered therapeutic approach with training in CBT, EMDR, Mindfulness and Gottman Method Couples Therapy Level 1.

 

 Mary Beth believes that it is important to treat the whole person, focus on their needs and support their values and beliefs. This is best accomplished through a strong therapeutic relationship where the person feels safe, heard and understood.

Marybeth meets with clients at the Westerville location and via telehealth.
